When planning, designing and building a house there are lots of decisions to make, but the best decision we made was employing Luke Greenham as our builder.
All the staff and contractors that Luke chose to work with were polite and seemed to enjoy their work with him. It made for a great workplace. They were all so respectful of us, and our young children, during our visits on site.
Luke kept to budget, kept on schedule and kept in touch. Some days we would receive 3 or 4 phone calls just to update us and keep us in the loop of what was happening. If we called Luke with a query, he would have it sorted and reply to us usually by the end of the day.
When it came time to refurbish our business premises, we contacted Luke again. It was a smaller job, on a shorter time frame with difficult logistics – but again, Luke completed it on budget and on schedule without any interruption to our business.
Luke built us a fantastic home, which has turned out exactly as we dreamt it would. He updated our business premises without disrupting our clients or staff. We expected that building would be stressful at times and we prepared ourselves for that as best we could. As it turned out every day working with Luke was a pleasure.

Luke was the project manager and lead builder on our architecturally designed house in Dickson, and ended us delivering a wonderful home, under schedule, under budget and to a great quality.
From the start we were impressed with Luke’s organisational skills and his in-depth knowledge of Canberra building industry. He ran to a tight schedule that was constantly shifting due to weather or other issues so that the build was very rarely idle, and yet despite being able to claim for allowable delays, still completed prior to our original contract date.
His communication with us as the clients was first rate, happily meeting us on-site to discuss any issues or question that had arisen. No issue was left to stagnate; he was upfront and problem solved them alongside us. All the subcontractors who we spoke to at the house spoke highly of working with him.
His drive for the perfect house outshone our own. He was upfront when something didn’t meet his high standards and never disputed or minimised concerns when raised by us or our architect.
